Polycom^® SoundStructure^® Professional Services

We offer the following Polycom SoundStructure Professional Services to support the deployment of your installed voice solution into your communications environment.

First, Polycom Professional Services specialists verify the integrity of proposed environments before installation and provide design, configuration, and programming expertise regarding existing Polycom SoundStructure implementations. Professional Services experts help ensure proper system and environmental connectivity for the highest quality user experiences. Our technical experts review and verify your planning materials to make sure that the right components connect correctly and that the end result is a complete, well-functioning SoundStructure system. The remote Environment Design Verification also includes a report that provides:

• A summary of the design
• A statement that the design is complete and meets Polycom standards
• An itemized list of operational improvements and capital recommendations for the highest performance, in the case of suboptimal proposed or existing designs.

Once the Environment Design has been verified, the next step is to design a configuration file that the AV integrator can use to deploy the solution.

The Remote Programming Service provides a SoundStructure configuration file based on the system design and system operation description. Working closely with the designated customer liaison, a design specialist gathers the necessary system design information to create the configuration file. Each Remote Programming Service for SoundStructure includes two hours of design specialist telephone support, which can be&emdash;but do not have to be&emdash;used contiguously. Telephone support is supplied remotely, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Time, unless otherwise stipulated.

Once the room is designed and deployed, the final step is Onsite Certification Service.

This onsite service provides an assigned Polycom project manager, who manages the validation of your SoundStructure installation so that it is correctly configured and meets your performance expectations. The project manager coordinates Polycom resources and the completion of pre-planned solution testing and certification by a Polycom field engineer. An onsite engineer also provides two (2) hours of customer orientation on the SoundStructure solution for up to ten participants.
