The Polycom VoIP Interoperability Partner (VIP) Program allows manufacturers of SIP-based call control platforms to demonstrate through testing and certification that their premise-based (IP PBX) or hosted (Softswitch) call control solutions are interoperable on a defined feature set with Polycom SoundPoint IP® desktop and SoundStation® IP conference phones and SIP software.

The Polycom VoIP Field Verified (VFV) Program does not engage in rigorous testing with the platform vendor but instead relies on the call control provider to perform comprehensive testing in their own lab. Polycom relies on input from VFV Partners and their end user customers to verify successful integrations utilizing Polycom VoIP phones with the call control platform.
