Solution Description
Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) enables remote operation of compatible Jabra wireless headsets with Polycom SoundPoint IP Phones, eliminating the need for a mechanical lifter. This means that users can hear ring tones, answer and end calls, adjust the volume or even mute the call from the headset; and be up to 300 feet away from the phone. This expanded mobility allows users to file, go to the printer, coffee machine or locate a colleague without leaving or missing a call. Plus their hands are free to type or take notes. Headsets also improve ergonomics and comfort while on the phone.
