Polycom to Leverage Westcon Group's Expertise in Unified Communications, Convergence and Video Conferencing
London and Slough, U.K., 27th February 2008 – Polycom today announced its partnership in the United Kingdom with Westcon Group, the leading specialty distributor in networking, convergence, security and mobility. Through its Westcon Convergence business practice, Westcon Group will distribute Polycom's collaboration and videoconferencing solutions to its reseller customers.
With this partnership Polycom intends to strengthen its very successful channel model with Westcon Group in the UK. Westcon Group is a clear market leader in advanced technologies and already one of Polycom's largest global distributors. With unified communications and videoconferencing growth across all industry sectors, Polycom sees Westcon';s expertise as a natural evolution beyond its existing channel partnerships in the U.K.
