Polycom Demonstrates its Cloud-Based Home Telepresence At 2010 CES

Who & What:

At CES 2010, Polycom, Inc. [Nasdaq: PLCM] will demonstrate a prototype of its home telepresence solution. In this demonstration, Polycom will bring its industry-leading, business-quality collaboration capabilities to the consumer market.

Home telepresence will enable consumers to visit with friends and family across and around the globe and seamlessly integrate with company video and telepresence networks, all from the comfort of home and in life-like, full-size 1080p HD. The demonstration will take place in IBM's meeting space which is designed to illustrate technologies for its "Smarter Home enabled by Cloud Technology" vision.
