Polycom Announces Conference Call and Webcast to Discuss Third Quarter Results October 20 at
5 p.m. EDT

PLEASANTON, Calif. - Oct 13, 2009 : Polycom, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLCM), the world's leading provider of unified collaborative communications solutions, today announced it will hold a conference call and webcast to discuss its third quarter 2009 results on Oct. 20, 2009 at 5 p.m. EDT. Bob Hagerty, chairman and CEO, Mike Kourey, chief financial officer, and Andrew Miller, executive vice president of global field operations, will host the conference call.

The estimated one-hour conference will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009. US/Canada callers, please call 800-950-7243 and callers outside US/Canada, please call 212-231-2901 at 4:50 p.m. EDT/ 1:50 p.m. PDT. The pass code for the call is "Polycom." The Global Conferencing operator will connect callers into the conference call. For callers unable to attend the conference call, a replay of the call will be available.
